Handwoven on my 8-shaft floor loom, Punchline began as a structural study in overshot - a wavy-line motif made even more expressive with a thick, variegated wool yarn in brilliant yellows, oranges, peaches and pinks. The cloth (and resulting clutch) is unapologetically bold: high-contrast, plump to the touch, and full of spontaneous color interplay. Each overshot curve ripples across the surface like a punchy waveform - graphic, rhythmic, and full of life - sure to add a pop of color and pizazz to your outfit.
Fully lined with natural cotton, Punchline features an 9" zipper closure with a handmade tassel pull and a genuine leather wrist strap for added ease, along with an Otterwoven hand-sewn leather tag. Machine sewn with care to preserve the integrity of the handwoven cloth, it’s designed to hold your essentials while honoring its handmade origin.
